Brand new jersey, made by Nike The playoffs are upon us for those who joined the Eagles Addict Fantasy Football League!  We’re down to the final six (well, five really)…who’s going to win that brand-spankin’ new Nike LeSean McCoy jersey? And no, I can’t replace it with a Bryce Brown jersey! Anyway, it was a pretty competitive league during the regular season.  Well, except for me…my team finished dead last and scored the least amount of points. The league’s top-scorer, Sack Me Maybe, outscored me by over 450 points…ouch!  But oddly enough, he didn’t finish with the top seed.  The top seed actually goes to Viet Nnamdis…the only EA writer to make the playoffs. So, here’s how the first round of the playoffs looks: 5th seed Sack Me Maybe? vs. 4th seed Fletcher’s Cox 6th seed Team Norman vs. 3rd seed Missing Linc Viet Nnamdis and Kiss My Asomugh get the first round bye weeks. The remainder of the playoffs will work just like the NFL…the top seed will face the lowest remaining seed in

Eagles Plan To Split Carries Between LeSean McCoy & Bryce Brown?

Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer writes that Eagles RB Bryce Brown has played well enough that he will likely be a “part of the offense” even when LeSean McCoy returns from his concussion. Brown has coughed up the ball three times in the last two weeks, but has also tallied a staggering 347 yards rushing to go along with 4 touchdowns. McCoy wasn’t this effective...

The Eagles should trade LeSean McCoy

Today, I had a rather heated argument with a coworker. You’ll think I’m crazy, but just hear me out. The Eagles should trade LeSean McCoy. Not because he’s not good–he’s clearly a top 3 running back in the league, and he’s one of my favorite players. Because the Eagles have A TON of holes to fill, namely along the offensive and defensive lines, and they basically need...

LeSean McCoy’s Concussion Symptoms Haven’t Regressed

Eagles head coach Andy Reid said that running back LeSean McCoy hasn’t passed his concussion test and is still experiencing some symptoms, per Jeff McClane. Since there are still lingering effects from the concussion that he suffered two weeks ago, it’s very possible that McCoy’s season could be over. With the Eagles sitting at 3-9 on the season and rookie running back Bryce...

Bryce Brown has earned a spot in the starting lineup

The Philadelphia Inquirer confirms Bryce Brown will likely be a “part of the offense” even if LeSean McCoy (concussion) returns. The three costly fumbles aside, Brown’s play over the last two weeks has given the Eagles a flash of positivity. Showing unique burst and acceleration, the seventh-round rookie has smashed records while rushing 43 times for 347 yards and scoring four...

Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy still haven’t passed concussion tests

During his press conference today, Eagles head coach Andy Reid told the media that both quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy still haven’t passed their concussion tests. Andy Reid: McCoy and Vick still haven’t passed concussion test. — Jeff McLane (@Jeff_McLane) December 5, 2012   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement(...

Maclin targets dropping, LeSean McCoy doubtful

Jeremy Maclin was expected to see an increased workload when DeSean Jackson went to IR, but that hasn’t been the case. Maclin has totaled a mere 12 targets in his last two games total, a number he reached against the Cowboys less than a month ago. Maclin isn’t a player I feel comfortable with for the rest of the season, as he isn’t much of a threat to score and this offense...

Eagles still trying new things over final 4 games

The Eagles are still trying to find a way to fix the problems that have hit them during a season to forget. Tommy Brasher took over as defensive line coach at practice for the first time since he replaced the fired Jim Washburn this week. Philadelphia's wide-nine defensive line alignment was getting less emphasis. Nick Foles took first-team snaps knowing he'd be the starting...

Will McCoy Be Shut Down?

Ready to work on my golf game Juan… The Eagles are done.  Nick Foles will be the starter the remainder of the season as the organization sees what they have in the kid before the entire coaching staff is replaced at the end of the season.  Bryce Brown has been a lighting rod for the running game and the Eagles may just want to showcase him as well. “Vick now has missed three...

Thinking Forward: Andrew Might Be Hawkin’ His Wares Against The Eagles

Get it? Andrew Hawkins?  Hawkin’?  Eagles?  So much pun, so little time.  The truth of the matter is it’s playoff time and we all know you’re most likely a strong enough team or else you wouldn’t be here.  But injuries can always happen.  It’s why I carry around a first aid kit where ever I go and have learned to make splints out of those umbrella sticks found in...
