SWEET, this is a tremendous move for the Birds! We won't need a WR with all the time DMac will have to throw. All we need is to draft a RB with the 21st pick and we are golden.
The Philadelphia Eagles and newly acquired OT Jason Peters have reached a six-year deal that will could pay him $60 million. The deal sees that Peters is guaranteed $24 million.
The Eagles sent their 2009 first (No. 28) and fourth round (No. 121) picks as well as a sixth-rounder in 2010. Philadelphia still has 10 picks in this year's draft, including
This is a big addition for an Eagles team that will have to face guys like DeMarcus Ware, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora as well as a revamped Redskins front line with Albert Haynesworth.

Friday night, , according to a source, Peters had signed a four-year extension worth $53 million in new money. The Eagles acquired him with two years remaining on his Bills contract. In total, Peters will make $60 million over the next six seasons.

Time will tell if it workd out, but I like the gamble. I would rather have this guy than Andre Smith. I still see the birds making a move for a reciever. I think they will go after Ocho Cinco. There is also a possibility they might trade out of the first round again to aquire picks for the future. I see them filling the TE and RB holes in later rounds ans signing a vetern like Warrick Dunn as a spell back for Westbrook some time near training camp. Dunn would give the rookie RB a year to develop blocking skills.

If Knowshon isn't there at 21, the birds will trade out of the first round again which I think would be a good move.
-
No if knowshon isnt there, they will take pettigrew TE. They will also look to take the RB form connecticut. I think they should look to sure up the D-line. Mark my words, if Bunkley goes down so does the season.
-
i think we should look at gettin pettigrew wit the 21st n think of gettin a solid rb n the second cuz this draft is filled wit gud rb's
-
i wouldn't mind having a 1/4 of that money right now!!! things are baaaad!!!
-
lol IM with you Trina! "been laid off for awhile where im at" Another note, I am now hearing Eagles could trade out of first round.... that would sooo make me cry!
-
