Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
IRVING - Not to take anything away from the Cowboys, but they got plenty of help from the Eagles on Sunday night.
From Andy Reid's questionable decisions to Moise Fokou's two crucial penalties, Philadelphia did what it could to give the game away.
It was a double whammy for Reid when he decided to go for it on fourth-and-1 from the Dallas 45 with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter. His first mistake was not sending the punting team in. His second mistake was challenging the spot after Marcus Spears stopped Donovan McNabb for no gain.
The play was upheld, costing Philadelphia it's third and final timeout.
Then there were Fokou's blunders.
His holding penalty wiped out Ellis Hobb taking the second-half kickoff back 96 yards for a touchdown.
Later in the third quarter, Fokou got flagged for a low block, a penalty that brought back a 54-yard return by Sheldon Brown after he intercepted a pass and returned it 54 yards.
Thanks to Fokou's penalty, the Eagles ...
