TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have benched offensive tackle Winston Justice, Philly.com reported Wednesday.
Despite playing well in a Week 6 win vs. Washington, Justice is losing his starting job because left tackle Jason Peters is ready to return from a hamstring injury.
Todd Herremans will remain at right tackle, protecting the blind side of lefthanded quarterback Michael Vick.
Despite their 2-4 start to the season, the Eagles lead the NFL with 170 rushing yards per game and 5.7 yards per carry. LeSean McCoy is seventh with 569 yards and Vick is just outside the top 20 with 372.
Philadelphia hosts Dallas on Sunday night.
