Now these are the Philadelphia Eagles we were expecting heading into the season. In a dominant performance, the Eagles destroyed the Dallas Cowboys by a final score of 34-7. And honestly, it wasn’t even that close.
Michael Vick had one of his best games of the season, finishing 21-for-28 for 279 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and two passing touchdowns. Running back LeSean McCoy was awesome, totaling 200 total yards to go along with two touchdowns.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, couldn’t do much of anything. Tony Romo was horrible while the game was in the balance. The running back was non-existent. And the defense was like hot butter meeting a knife.
Now, the Eagles, Cowboys and Washington Redskins are 3-4 and tied in second place behind the New York Giants in the NFC East. However, it’s these Eagles we all expected to see who seem ready to take flight.
