The Philadelphia Eagles signed defensive end Trent Cole to a four-year contract extension Wednesday.The extension keeps the 29-year-old with the club through the 2017 season.The two-time Pro Bowler's 68 career sacks have him third all-time on the team's list behind Reggie White and Clyde Simmons.Cole recorded 44 tackles and 11 sacks last season for Philadelphia and is the second Eagles player to get an extension in two days.
