Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson went into a convulsion during Wednesday's practice and was taken from the field in an ambulance.
Multiple reports said Patterson had his neck stabilized but was able to move his extremities following the incident at Lehigh University.
The 6-1, 300-pound Patterson is entering his seventh season with the Eagles and is a starter in the middle of their defensive line. He had 37 tackles and two sacks last season and has 297 tackles and 13 sacks for his career.
The Eagles are expected to update Patterson's condition later Wednesday.
