Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson was released from the hospital Friday, two days after having a scary seizure at practice.
Patterson, 27, visited training camp and met with coach Andy Reid between the team's morning and afternoon practices. He told reporters he would speak about the incident in the future.
Agent J.R. Rickert told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Patterson was scheduled to see a neurologist and hopes to resume activities in a couple of days.
On Thursday, it was reported Patterson was diagnosed with brain arteriovenous malformation, a tangling of blood vessels in the skull that requires surgery or radiation.
At Wednesday morning's practice, Patterson was in a seizure for four minutes and lost consciousness. He was rushed to the Lehigh Valley Hospital by ambulance but was awake and alert shortly after arrival and underwent tests.
Patterson had 37 tackles and two sacks last season as a starter on Philadelphia's defensive line.
