I’m growing a phenomenal crew here on Bleeding Eagle Green, so good that I was afforded the extremely rare opportunity to have a Skype interview with Philadelphia Eagles 2011-12 Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Babin for just the third episode of Bleeding Eagle Green TV. All the thanks goes to Jason Babin, my colleague Brian Talon, the folks over at www.babinfanclub.com, and Jason’s publicist for getting everything set up. Lastly, a lot of credit to my video editor Andrew Pochan as this was not only my first “face-to-face” interview, it was my first Pro Bowl player interview.
Babin is currently in Hawaii to partake in his second Pro Bowl after a tremendous 2011 campaign. He recorded 40 tackles, 18 quarterback sacks and 3 forced fumbles. Best of luck to him playing with the best-of-the-best and now I’m looking forward to training camp more-so than ever!
Hopefully Eagles fans, there will be plenty of Philly players to appear in the future, but this one…...

Philadelphia Eagles Officially Bring Back Juan Castillo
Castillo gets a shot to prove he's learned.
So 29 days after the Philadelphia Eagles’ season officially ended, they finally put an end to any defensive coordinator speculation once and for all. The city had it out for Castillo before midseason, and the pundits had him all but gone before 10 games had been played.
But now, less than a week away from the Super Bowl, the...
Philadelphia Eagles Must Make A Splash Into The Wide Receiver Free Agent Market
The Philadelphia Eagles have a quandary with star wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Should they cut ties, give him the hefty contract he desires or slap the franchise tag on him? Based on Jackson’s performance, actually, his effort, I say the Birds need to move on.
DeSean Jackson finished the 2011 season with 58 receptions, 961 yards and four touchdowns. These are not bad...
Michael Vick: Can he take the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl?
It seems that Vick, time and time again, shows us flashes of brilliance. One game he looks unstoppable, the other he looks confused. One game he’s dominant, the other game he shows the fans absolutely nothing. Michael Vick appears to be an “if and only if” logic.
If Michael Vick is healthy, he warrants a Super Bowl QB status. He’s more accurate, he’s more agile, and he...

As the Social Media craze continues, the NFL is trying to capitalize and engage an already enormous audience via yet another method. The league has ruled that it will allow players to use Twitter at the Pro Bowl.
