NFL Injury Report:
While most of the Philadelphia Eagles’ players
who entered the week banged up will be able to suit up today against the
Pittsburgh Steelers, linebacker Akeem Jordan
has been ruled out.
Jordan is dealing with a hamstring injury and
will be replaced in the Eagles’ lineup by Jamar Chaney.
Defensive tackle Derek Landri, safety Colt
Anderson and offensive lineman King Dunlap are listed as questionable, but all
are expected to be available today. Offensive lineman Danny Watkins, wide
receivers Riley Cooper, Damaris Johnson and Jason Avant, linebacker Mychal Kendricks
and long snapper Jon Dorenbos are probable and are also expected to play.
Though they were on the injury report early in
the week, Eagles running back LaSean McCoy and offensive lineman Demetress Bell
have been removed and will play.

The turnovers continue for Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick and at some point, you must raise the question as to whether or not this will be his last season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Yes, Vick is an exciting, dynamic player, but his reckless ball control issues are not stopping and most likely cost Philadelphia the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Yes, the Eagles...
Update to the previous post: Within minutes after my initial post about the show this morning, something came up that I now cannot be available, so you have my apologies. However, starting 2 weeks from today, the plan is to do a weekly talk show.
Feel like talking about Philadelphia Eagles football? About the NFL in general? Or perhaps you want some fantasy football advice...
The most basic job of an NFL quarterback is to maintain possession of the football. This is something that Eagles QB Michael Vick has struggled mightily with early this season, and it certainly cost him in Philadelphia’s 16-14 loss to their in-state rival Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday. Although Vick isn’t the sole concern for [...]

Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles were on the wrong side of another 2-point game, this time against the Pittsburgh Steelers, losing 16-14 on a last second field goal.
For the 4th time in 5 games, the Eagles were involved in a game that came down to the wire and decided by 2 points or less. The previous 3 times the Eagles prevailed, but...
Depending on who you believe, the distance between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is 300 miles, although either team’s fans could be in each other backyard’s regardless of where they live in Pennsylvania. It’s been hard, if not impossible, for the Philadelphia Eagles to compete with the legacy of the Pittsburgh Steelers.Pittsburgh boasts six Super Bowl titles, whereas Philadelphia...
The Eagles must pressure Ben Roethlisberger Sunday
This Sunday the Eagles make their octennial trip across the state to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. Many have dubbed this a cross-state rivalry, while unlike the Flyers and Penguins, facing each other once very 4 years, hardly qualifies this as one.
The Steelers having won 6 Super Bowls and playing in the AFC, don’t consider the...
Losing a shoe while running is never fun. In Sunday's Keystone State battle between the Eagles and Steelers, the two Pennsylvania teams certainly got heated at various points during the game. While this may not be a hate-filled gesture, it did make some people go: huh? Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown caught a Ben Roethlisberger pass and showed some fancy footwork towards the endzone...
Ben Roethlisberger getting sucked into the ground? I don’t mind.
If it were to happen, the Eagles would of course wind up safely where Hines Ward lands in the clip.
A girl can dream.

PITTSBURGH -- At some point, the Philadelphia Eagles' high-wire act to start the season was going to come crashing down. It was only fitting that it came at the hands of another comeback artist. Ben Roethlisberger engineered a game-winning drive that ended with Shaun Suisham's 34-yard field goal as time expired, and the Steelers edged the Eagles 16-14 Sunday at Heinz Field...
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 16-14 on Sunday and below are my first half notes from the game with the second half notes to follow soon.
Nice bracket coverage on the early deep pass Jeremy Maclin by both Ike Taylor and Ryan Clark. The defense had the Eagles in a 3rd and long, but Jason Avant moves the chains after he is passed off from James Harrison to Cortez...
