Most everyone on the Philadelphia Eagles injury report is
listed as probable to play as the team prepares for its Week 16 matchup against
the Washington Redskins, including quarterback Michael Vick, running back
LeSean McCoy and wide receivers Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant.
Vick and McCoy are each set to return from concussions.
McCoy will be the team’s starter at running back, but he’s going to be sharing
carries with rookie Bryce Brown. Brown has proven himself effective and the
Eagles have no reason to push the envelope when it comes to McCoy.
While Vick will be active for the first time in several
weeks, he will likely not see the field. Philadelphia has said that rookie Nick
Foles would be its starter for the remainder of the season following Vick’s
injury, and the veteran will be the team’s No. 3 quarterback Sunday.
Fullback Stanley Havili (hamstring) has been ruled out
against the Redskins, while running back Chris Polk (toe) is doubtful to suit
up. Everyone else on the team’s injury report is probable.
