TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without their starting
quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy, who are each recovering
from concussions, when they take on the Carolina Panthers tonight.
Vick sustained his head injury two weeks ago against the
Dallas Cowboys. He was unable to suit up last weekend when the Eagles took on
the Washington Redskins, and he’s been ruled out for at least one more contest.
McCoy suffered his concussion last week against the Redskins.
The injury occurred late in the game, prompting many to question why he was
still playing during what was already a blowout.
Vick and McCoy will each be replaced by rookies; quarterback
Nick Foles and running back Bryce Brown.
Beyond Vick and McCoy, wide receiver Jason Avant (hamstring)
and running back Chris Poke (toe) are also out. Wide receiver Riley Cooper
(knee), defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins (foot/ankle) and offensive lineman
Danny Watkins (ankle) are all probable to play against the Panthers.

Vick got one more in him?
First of all my condolences to all the Eagle fans on their 2012-13 season, I really didn’t expect things to get this bad. LeSean McCoy Unlikely To Play In Week 13
Jeff McLane tweets that Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is in fact progressing from the concussion that he sustained against Washington two weeks ago, but is still unlikely to be back in time to play against the Cowboys this weekend.
There is still time for him to return to practice before this weekend’s game, but the Eagles probably do not want to rush their star running back when Bryce...
Cam Newton: Michael Vick and I have a rare skill set that is a gift and a curse
Cam Newton has been compared to Michael Vick ever since he burst onto the scene at Auburn and led the Tigers to a national championship. While many will argue that their comparisons are race related, Newton understands that the comparison stems mostly from the fact that both quarterbacks can make plays with their arm and their legs. Newton says that dual-threat ability has its benefits...

Eagles QB Michael Vick Still Not Medically Cleared To Play
Eagles head coach Andy Reid mentioned that QB Michael Vick still hasnt been cleared from a concussion that he suffered a few weeks ago.
If the young guys are available to play, were going to put them in and play them, Reid said. If thats the situation, Im not going to hesitate to do that. But well see how things go here as we continue to roll on.
Vick reportedly...
DeSean Jackson out for year
The Eagles, already without Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy, will be without DeSean Jackson for the remainder of the season. The speedster fractured his ribs on MNF against the Panthers and was placed on IR earlier today.
As odd as this sounds, this may help fantasy owners. You are no longer tied to playing (or rostering for that matter) the struggling wideout. That being said, his...
Eagles fans have resorted to wearing paper bags over their heads (Pictures)
Philadelphia Eagles fans seem to have reached their boiling point with their team, and in particular head coach Andy Reid. After a 3-1 start to a 2012 season that many expected to be a successful one, the Eagles have lost seven straight games. Michael Vick has been sidelined with a concussion, but he had played horribly before going down anyway. Sitting at 3-8 and poised to miss...
Eagles Fan Falls Victim To The Upside Down Jeremy Maclin Jersey Sales Trick
We’re told by Philly fans that this is what happens when you buy your football jersey in the parking lot before a game. Anyway, this guy is one day closer to no Andy Reid, no Michael Vick, and a top-5 draft pick. Carolina walked into the Linc on Monday Night Football and won, 30-22, which ties Philly with Carolina for the worst record in the NFC.

Vick And McCoy Ruled Out For Week 12
Brown is no Shady Juan…
Andy Reid has already ruled out both Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy for Monday Night Football. That means more Nick Foles and possibly fantasy savior Bryce Brown. Foles has already shown he can’t be trusted for fantasy purposes, but Brown is somewhat intriguing.
The Panthers were getting shredded earlier in the season by the run, but have tightened...

MNF Preview: Panthers vs Eagles
This week’s Monday Night action takes us to Philly as the Carolina Panthers (2-8) get set to face the Philadelphia Eagles (3-7) in a showdown of possibly the two most underachieving teams in the league. The two teams have the worst records in the NFC. In fact, somebody on Twitter earlier said “Free Fallin” by Tom Petty would be the perfect soundtrack for both these teams. With...
Fantasy Week 13 Waiver Wire
With most playoffs beginning this week or the next, your week 13 fantasy football picks could be key. Bryce Brown, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: His 178-yard, two-touchdown debut was magic for several owners who needed a Monday night miracle, but take note that Brown’s role will be reduced once LeSean McCoy returns from a concussion suffered…
