Reuben Frank of CSN Philly reports that the Eagles interviewed formed Raven head coach Brian Billick last Monday in Baltimore for their head coaching vacancy. Billick, who has not coached since 2007, is considered among the leading candidates for the Eagles’ job. He’s an offensive minded coach, but his Super Bowl winning Ravens were heavily reliant upon their elite defense. Billick has a career record of 80-64, which includes four post season appearances and a Super Bowl win. Philadelphia has already been denied by the likes of Bill O’Brien, Chip Kelly and Brian Kelly. Other coaches in contention for the job include: Falcons DC Mike Nolan, Broncos OC Mike McCoy, Colts OC Bruce Arians, Lovie Smith, Bengals OC Jay Gruden, Falcons ST coordinator Keith Armstrong and Seahawks DC Gus Bradley.        The post Eagles Interview Ex-Ravens Head Coach Brian Billick appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

  • If Laurie hires this goof, than I will stop being an Eagle football fan. After listening to his commentary on 97.5 convinced me that he has either no idea of what has gone wrong under Andy Reid,s regime the last 4 years or he is kissing up to Eagles management. He presented himself as someone who is clueless of the dire straits that Andy put this football franchise in. Over the last 4 years, I made better 123 draft picks than Mr. Reid, so how does he refer to Andy of being a good judge of talent. He also stated he was a great game coach. Reid is just the opposite. Lastly, he stated that Andy managed the clock well. Mr. B. must be in Lala land.
