The game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles was not fair. Apparently no one got the players ready to play because the Bucs were out-coached, out-smarted, out-everything’d. And who does all that fall on? The Bucs are 1-10 in their last eleven games dating back to last season. The last time there were so many losses a certain coach got fired but he had more success with a far less talented team. But yet, this is a well-coached football team. “I believe it is a well-coached football team,” Schiano said via the Tampa Bay Times. “Not well enough. There are certain things we have to get done consistently. We’ll get this done in one game and this done in another game, but we’re not getting it all together. That may frustrate some.” It is frustrating some. And I’m sure it’s frustrating the players, they just haven’t said anything. Nick Foles exploited the Bucs defense. They couldn’t disrupt his concentration if they wanted to. He found DeSean Jackson twice in the endzone. He even ran one in on a draw. Foles finished 22/31 for 296 yards, four total touchdowns, and no interceptions. His quarterback rating of 133 proves that he had his way. On the bright side, Bucs’ rookie Mike Glennon showed improvement. He finished the game 26/43 for 273 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Both touchdowns were to Vincent Jackson and his lone interception was on a ball thrown to Tiquan Underwood in which he just stopped running his route. All-in-all, the Buccaneers are just not coached properly. Penalties that can easily be avoided and poor decisions made in-game from the sideline are a direct reflection of a team whose coach may be in way over his head.
