PLAYERS: Andy Reid
TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles
With the Super Bowl just days away what better time for the Eagles to announce an increase in ticket prices. The modest $8.00 increase on all tickets came with the explanation that the Eagles will be “making improvements to the stadium to enhance the fan experience”. Well what is your first thought? After one of the worst seasons in recent memory enhancing the fan experience should be a better product on the field. Modest or not the announcement timing was meant to fly under the radar which it hasn’t succeeded here. The very rich franchise of the Philadelphia Eagles and specifically Jeff Lurie do not understand the Philadelphia fan. Fluffing up the stadium for “enhancement” is not what the typical Philly fan desires. WE WANT A WINNER! The contribution to improve YOUR STADIUM Jeff Lurie on some of our dime? It takes someone really out of touch to raise prices after 2012.
