The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed cornerback Joselio Hanson, who was released Saturday.
Hanson was cut because he had three years and $7.6 million remaining on his contract and had been bumped to the team's fourth cornerback with the offseason acquisitions of Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Hanson signed a two-year deal after no other team made a serious offer.
Hanson has spent the last five years with the Eagles, primarily playing in nickel packages. He had 36 tackles and six passes defensed last season.
