You look at statistics, shoot, we’re still in the top of the running.  I can’t do nothing about it.  But I didn’t see no problems.” Technically, this means he did see problems.  His point is that he didn’t.… Read more

Sources: Michael Vick still the starting QB

We've been waiting for word to come down from the Philadelphia Eagles organization whether or not head coach Andy Reid was going to pull the trigger and bench Michael Vick. Although the Eagles' front office was closed Monday night due to Hurricane Sandy, sources are telling the Associated Press that Reid has decided to keep Vick as the starter. Rookie Nick Foles will stay...

Eagles to stick with Vick as McNabb chimes in

For all intents and purposes it looks as if Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will live to fight another day. As Philadelphia prepares to face another struggling group in the New Orleans Saints, coach Andy Reid certainly can’t handle trying to repair his suspect defense and work in a new signal caller in the same week. There must be order and the Saints can without a doubt offensively...

As of yesterday, Eagles quarterbacks still unaware of who is starting this week

NFL Network’s Jeff Darlington reports neither Eagles quarterback has been made aware of a depth-chart change as of Monday. Michael Vick and waiting-in-the-wings rookie Nick Foles are still awaiting clarity on the situation after coach Andy Reid’s day-after press conference was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy. Darlington suggests the storm could actually force the Eagles to stick...

During an appearance on “NFL AM”  Tuesday morning, McNabb defended Vick in the wake of reports that...

Mike Vick will remain the starter over rookie Nick Foles. Andy Reid quieted the unending speculation surrounding Mike Vick’s fate despite an off day for the team and confirmed that Vick would start for the team on Monday versus the New Orleans Saints. The questions began swirling shortly after the team fell to 30-17 at the Linc on Sunday and Vick responded to a question about his...

Problems on Both Sides

During the 14 year Andy Reid era the Eagles have never lost a game coming off the bye…… that gave a lot of fans hope going into Sunday’s game versus the Falcons. The Eagles had blown back to back 4th quarter leads and fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo leading into this game.  This game was a…
