Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox sustained a concussion in the Birds' 27-20 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday, making the rookie first-round pick the fourth Eagles starter to suffer the injury this season.
Quarterback Michael Vick, running back LeSean McCoy, and tight end Brent Celek have all missed games this season with concussions. There was no word on Cox's status for Sunday's game at the New York Giants, and the Eagles put their players through a rigorous five-step concussion-recovery process.
Nick Foles' hand contusion was the only other notable injury suffered during the game. Fullback Stanley Havili missed the game with a hamstring injury, and running back Chris Polk was sidelined with a toe injury.

Andy wants Vick to start final game vs. Giants...and Jimmy Kempski breaks down a breakdown...
I don't get it, but I guess Andy Reid has a logical reason to want Mike Vick as his QB#1 in a "meaningless" final game of the 2012 season on the road against the Giants.
New York (8-7) is still alive in the playoff mathematics, but only by the slimmest of algebraic margins.
Meanwhile, this is the ultimate U-Haul game for the Birds.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Best Christmas Ever
It was Christmas 1960 and I was a little dude. My family had almost finished opening the gifts under the tree. But there was one little box left. My parents usually left the biggest gift for the children last, and I was heartbroken thinking that the little box was a bow tie, which was a popular item those days. So I slowly reached for the little box and began to unwrap it. The...

How Eagles of Them!
Eagles v. Redskins, Sunday, December 23, 2012
I was in two minds about this game. On the one hand, it’s clear this was Andy Reid’s last home game, and I was hoping the team could send him on his way with a win. On the other hand, top 5 pick! And on the third hand, if I may borrow one of yours, of the remaining choices to win the division, I’d most like to see it go to...
