Video has surfaced of Andy Reid and DeSean Jackson talking in Training Camp about his effort.

Seeing how the season has played out, it all makes sense now. Minus the racist stuff.

In all seriousness, it is amazing how his Eagles team is going through the same problems they try to teach to high school kids in Disney movies. Effort. Playing together. Lack of leadership. It's all there.

"I'm supposed to play for the team? What team!"

Exactly.

Who Will Replace Andy Reid?

After last night’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, its looks like Reid has lost control of the Eagles. He's had his fair share of chances and it tenure has run its course. He has to do a better job yet never does. He hired former Offensive Line Coach Juan Castillo to run his defense. What is he doing? But who will replace the most successful coach in the history of the franchise...

NFL roundup: Eagles' Andy Reid isn't focusing on job security

Eagles coach Andy Reid says he is focused on getting better and isn't concerned about his job security.

DeSean Jackson Sulks After Game, Teammates Think He’s Not Trying

One play said it all during Thursday night’s Eagles-Seahawks game. Not that Philadelphia has had any chance of saving their season since about Week 9 anyway, but that doesn’t mean they have to go down without any dignity at all. If DeSean Jackson has anything to say about it, that’s exactly how it’s going to [...]

Why DeSean Jackson Is Not the Bad Guy

We often look for scapegoats when things go terribly wrong. After all, it has to be somebody’s fault right? Someone who is not completely imbibed in their job or giving off the sense of being disengaged. DeSean Jackson seems to be the persona non grata and posterboy for the Philadelphia Eagles’ failed season, as their year took a turn for the worse last night losing 31-14...

Signs point, for now, to Reid staying put

At a time when the folks in Philly have once again broken out the pitchforks and torches, their efforts to clamor for change in the coaching ranks of the local NFL team ultimately could fall on deaf ears. Though more people than ever can now envision the end of the Andy Reid era after 13…

Know Your Enemy: Philadelphia Eagles

Each week, I interview a blogger that covers the the team that the Seahawks are covering. This week, I was lucky enough to get Mark from Birdsfan.com.1) It appears Reid picked the right QB out of the McNabb, Kolb, Vick trio, but with Vick comes injuries because of his style of play. How are the Eagles fans handling the situation at QB?Eagles fans know that Vick is a high risk, high...

Vick’s contract will be a factor in Reid’s status

Earlier this week, the word on the NFL street was that, despite the implosion of the Dream Team, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie would keep coach Andy Reid. After last night’s sleepwalk in Seattle, it’s hard to feel good about Reid’s future in Philly. But then there’s this.  Quarterback Mike Vick has a fully guaranteed base…

From The Bleachers 12.2.11

As the end of the week approaches, a pair of OWS contributors banter about some of the important (and not so important) news items of the week. …the Eagles. So, um, they’re kind of bad, huh? All that aside, my favorite character in this whole thing is Desean Jackson (or, as the back page of the NY Post will soon label this clubhouse cancer, DISEASE Jackson). He’s kind...

Misery continues for the Philadelphia Eagles as they log another loss

The misery of the 2011 season continued last night for the Philadelphia Eagles as they suffered another loss, this time at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. Philadelphia has now suffered defeat in four of their last five games and last night’s performance in prime time border lined on embarrassment. QB Vince Young threw four interceptions, one on the first play of...

Sleepy (and sore) in Seattle... Eagles must run the Time Zone gauntlet... ...

I happened to be on air with former NFL players Jonathan Ogden and Stan White a few days ago on WBAL-AM, and they both told me it takes at least four days after a game for most players just to get their bodies back to equilibrium in time to prepare for the next game... And yet, the NFL continues to put teams through the Thursday-after-a-Sunday game gauntlet... What makes it even...
