The Philadelphia Eagles announced the signing of free agent safety Anthony Scirrotto. Scirrotto takes the roster spot of safety Antoine Harris, who was placed on injured reserve. Signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State in 2009, Scirrotto was waived by the Panthers prior to last year's training camp. Scirrotto spent a week on the New York Giants practice squad in late November/early December. Scirrotto worked out Monday for the Eagles, who are also expected to take a look at James Brindley, an undrafted free agent from Utah State who spent the off-season with the Seattle Seahawks.
