The Eagles made a few changes to their playing and coaching staffs on Tuesday.
The team claimed OT D.J. Jones off of waivers from the Ravens. The 6’5, 315 player went to Nebraska where he played both tackle and guard, starting 17 games and playing in 39. Jones entered the NFL via the Miami Dolphins as an unsigned free agent and spent 6 weeks on the team’s practice squad before he was waived. He was picked up by the Ravens and spent weeks 7 – 16 on their practice squad, being promoted to their active roster for the last week of the regular season.
In the coaching staff, Philadelphia replaced former strength and conditioning coach Roger Marandino, who now has the same position with the Colts, with Keith Gray. Here is Gray’s bio, per the Eagles:
