Just as the San Diego Chargers released an aging All-Pro running back—LaDainian Tomlinson—yesterday, the Philadelphia Eagles will do the same with one of their own—Brian Westbrook—soon. Brian tried to fight through two concussions (and an ankle injury) last season, but he missed half of Philly’s games as a result of those ailments. And when you consider he never played a full 16 game schedule in his eight-year NFL career—coupled with his own personal concerns over the concussions—it’s hard to imagine he has a lot left to offer.
