In an unexpected selection, the Eagles decided to add a wide receiver with their first pick in today's NFL draft. They like Jeremy Maclin out of Missouri so much that they moved up two spots to get him. Maclin will join a speedy group of Philadelphia pass catchers that includes last year's prized pick, DeSean Jackson. Knowshon Moreno was long gone having gone to Denver at 12 but the other guy many people expected the Eagles to take was Brandon Pettigrew who was available when the Iggles selected at 19.
