The Philadelphia Eagles tried out former St. Louis Rams and New York Jets wide receiver Mardy Gilyard, according to a league source. Gilyard is a former Rams fourth-round pick from the University of Cincinnati who caught six passes for 63 yards as a rookie. The Jets claimed him off waivers from the Rams, but later released him. Gilyard was a star for the Bearcats who hasn't been able to duplicate that success in the NFL so far.
