TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Saturday they have ruled out quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy for Monday night's game against the Carolina Panthers. Vick and McCoy are still recovering from concussions. Vick has already missed a game because of the concussion and did not practice this week. McCoy was injured during last week's loss to the Washington Redskins and also did not practice during the week. Nick Foles will start for the second straight week in place of Vick and Bryce Brown will take McCoy's spot on the active roster. Coach Andy Reid said both players are in the early phases of recovery but Vick is closer to returning than McCoy.
