Eagles Winning Strategy: Keep Vick In The Pocket

The actual pocket.  The one that's centered about five yards behind the line of scrimmage, nestled inside all those big guys whose paycheck depends on keeping Vick safe. "But we can't pass protect," you say.  True.  We can't.  But that hardly matters if, when the rushers get to Vick, he no longer has the ball, either because it's zipping on a line to one of his receivers or it's dangling perilously far from Shady's midsection as our star RB is making two more guys miss him. Half the reason you want DeSean Jackson on your team is because of what he does when he has the football.  In space, 10 yards beyond the LoS, no one in football is more dangerous.
