Bears wideout Earl Bennett, who suffered a concussion against the Seahawks in Week 13, has been ruled out for Week 15, according to the Bears website.Fantasy Spin:Bennett has recorded just 23 receptions for 250 and one TD this season. Owned in less than five percent of all leagues his absence won't cause much of a problem. Alshon Jeffery is the second best receiver on the Bears behind Brandon Marshall and the only other Chicago receiver with any fantasy value.

If the Bears cannot protect Cutler they will not make the postseason. Week 15 preview.

Cutler is not going to make it through the season if the Bears cannot figure out how to protect cutler.   With only three weeks left in the season it's time to teams to step-up and secure a playoff spot or start looking forward to next season.  After a rough couple weeks I'm sitting at 132-76, I need to step it up. Here's a quick look at this weeks games. ...

Lovie Smith denies that Jay Cutler has an MCL sprain

Last night it was reported that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has a sprained MCL. When addressing the media today, Bears head coach Lovie Smith denied that Cutler has such an injury. “What knee?” Smith said when asked about Cutler’s knee injury. But the knee injury is legitimate and that is why the team has listed Cutler with a knee injury on the report. “Jay is good to go...

Bears Injury Report: Brian Urlacher, Tim Jennings, Henry Melton

While the Chicago Bears have already listed linebacker Brian Urlacher and cornerback Tim Jennings as out for tomorrow’s pivotal matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the team could also be without defensive linemen Henry Melton and Shea McClellin. Urlacher (hamstring) and Jennings (shoulder) missed the entire week of practice and have been ruled out for the Packers game...

Bears QB Jay Cutler Will Be Ready to Play

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler told reporters yesterday that he will be ready to play this weekend when his team faces the Green Bay Packers in a pivotal NFC North showdown, reports Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. Jay Cutler didn't look stiff Wednesday from the neck injury that knocked him out of the fourth quarter of Sunday's road loss to the Vikings and...

Packers focused on stopping Bears WR Marshall

Greg Jennings thinks Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is a genius. Marshall had made headlines one day earlier when he went off on the rival Green Bay Packers during his weekly media availability. But it was something Marshall said later that Jennings found brilliant: Marshall's attempt to bait the Packers into matching their cornerbacks up with him man-to-man. ...

Jay Cutler Dealing With A Sprained MCL

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bears QB Jay Cutler is dealing with a sprained MCL on top of the neck injury that he suffered last weekend against the Vikings. Cutler is, however, expected to practice on Friday and be available for Sunday’s game against the Packers with the division on the line. This certainly isn’t great news for the Bears as it continues a trend of notable...

Can Bears turn tide against Packers?

Losers of four of their last five games and hanging precariously on the NFC playoff fence, the Chicago Bears attempt to slay their bitter rival Green Bay in a key NFC North match-up at Soldier Field on Sunday. The 8-5 Bears have stumbled since a 7-1 start, thanks to a porous offensive line and some key injuries. Unlike the first half [...]

Brian Urlacher takes a shot back at Jermichael Finley

Earlier this week, Green Bay Packer tight end Jermichael Finley came out and said the Bears are a better team without linebacker Brian Urlacher on the field. Bears linebacker Lance Briggs came to the defense of Urlacher, but Urlacher also decided to fire back at Finley. “Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him,”...

Briggs joins Marshall in unloading on Packers

Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs unloaded on the Packers a day after teammate Brandon Marshall did the same thing, saying he's no fan of Green Bay and that Jermichael Finley is ''an idiot.'' Five Players to Watch: Week 15

After starting the season 7-1, the Chicago Bears have been on a slide, going just 1-4 in their last five games.
