Early injury report has no surprises

The Giants’ pre-practice injury report was exactly what it was expected to be. There are seven players on it, including LB Michael Boley (hip), CB Kevin Dockery (hamstring), C Adam Koets (ankle), WR Hakeem Nicks (foot), CB Aaron Ross (hamstring), LB Clint Sintim (groin) and RB Danny Ware (elbow). Dockery, Koets, Ross and Sintim all had the same injuries last week and none of them were able to play against the Redskins. Boley has been recovering from hip surgery all summer, but he was out last week because he was suspended. And Nicks and Ware were hurt during the Redskins’ game. Nicks and Ware are out at least two weeks and Ross has already said he doesn’t expect to play Sunday night in Dallas. The status of the others should be clearer - - maybe - - after Tom Coughlin’s 11 a.m. press conference and practice later today.
