Found October 18, 2012 on Helmet2Helmet:
It seems every year there are a handful of teams that get bitten by the injury bug. Among the victims in 2012 is the Baltimore Ravens, who’ve lost three key cogs in their defense: cornerback Lardarius Webb and linebackers Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis. If that’s not bad enough, there’s a chance Ed Reed could be next. In a radio interview Wednesday (via the Baltimore Sun), the Ravens’ All-World safety revealed that he’s playing through a torn shoulder labrum, and the injury might be negatively affecting his play. Reed wouldn’t say when or how he injured his shoulder. Aside from a minor thigh ailment in Week 2, he’s yet to appear on the team’s injury report, which is bizarre. It’s highly unlikely Reed would lie about such a thing, and coach John Harbaugh isn’t known to skew potential injuries (a la Bill Belichick). In any case, Baltimore can ill afford to lose Reed, who, like Lewis, still provides an invaluable spark of veteran leadership and guidance, despite losing a step or two. Duri...

Terrell Suggs Scares Ravens Reporter Gerry Sandusky With Surprise Tackle (Video)

When it comes to the age-old question, "trick or treat," one can assume Terrell Suggs would opt for "trick." Ravens sideline reporter Gerry Sandusky -- yes, with a "G" -- was filming one of his weekly segments when Suggs surprised him with a running hug that might as well have been a tackle. After all, Suggs is 260 pounds. Instead...

Today the Baltimore Ravens promoted RB Bobby Rainey from their practice squad. This completes the 53 man roster for the Ravens, after losing both Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb to injuries against the Cowboys. Coach John Harbaugh insisted a month ago that Rainey remained a “big part” of the team’s plans after he was re-signed to the practice squad. Anthony Allen got the final...

The Baltimore Ravens have placed cornerback Lardarius Webb on injured reserve and elevated running back Bobby Rainey from the practice squad. Ravens hope to stop the run against Texans...not an easy task

Rumors of OLB Terrell Suggs coming back from his Achilles rehab to bolster the Ravens' run defense against the Houston Texans are circulating around Baltimore and the NFL as of the Friday before game time. Personally I would not count on Suggs being even close to ready to be activated. But he did have a limited practice on Wednesday and another on Thursday. I guess we won'...

Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans: Week 7 NFL Pick

Baltimore Ravens (5-1) at Houston Texans (5-1) This is a very interesting game for a number of reasons. The most obvious is Baltimore’s injuries. This line was at -4 a week ago, but because of Baltimore’s injuries, it’s shifted 3 points, even though Baltimore won and Houston got blown out at home. In spite of that, we still are getting a slight public lean on Houston. Houston...
