Edwards can't practice; Fitzpatrick likely to start

Bills quarterback Trent Edwards missed practice days after sustaining a concussion, making backup Ryan Fitzpatrick the likely starter at Carolina this weekend. Though Dick Jauron didn't rule out Edwards, the coach on Wednesday said the quarterback was recuperating at home and did not attend team meetings. The third-year starter was knocked out while being sacked early in the second quarter of a 16-13 overtime win at the New York Jets on Sunday.
