First, Eli’s making a fool of himself on SNL. Now Elisha is appearing on a contentious cover shot for Time Magazine, promoting a story about the dangers of overmothering your child. [PK speak] Self-deprecation, Eli Manning has it. [/PK speak] Abby and Olivia can’t be thrilled about the use of a model, I bet.
As for the story, not sure what the big concern is. Eli got babied more than either of his brothers and yet it’s he who owns the family record in Super Bowl rings. Looks like taking your children antiquing will be the latest in helicopter mom fads.
Thanks to @TheBaronMorris for the top shot. Slightly more disturbing Manning-related offerings after the jump.

WR Rueben Randle showing Giants he's NFL-ready
The New York Giants boasted that Rueben Randle was NFL-ready after taking the LSU receiver in the second round of draft, and the kid didn't disappoint as the Super Bowl champions opened a rookie minicamp on Friday.
Randle went up high to catch a pass along the sideline and later burned third-round draft choice Jayron Hosley on a ''go'' pattern in the morning...
New York Giants Mini-Camp: 5 Rookies To Watch
With the New York Giants Mini-camp underway (May 11-13), a lot is expected from the Giants top 3 selections in the 2012 Draft: (RB) David Wilson, (WR) Rueben Randle and (CB) Jayron Hosley.
Aside from these top three prospects, I have compiled my top 5 rookies who I feel might make an impact in 2012 or even beyond.
My selections were based on where they were drafted, overall ability...
Safety Jones, 2010 third-round pick, still not cleared for football drills
Chad Jones, the Giants' third-round pick in 2010, has not yet been cleared to participate in football drills. Jones, who was involved in a serious car crash just a couple of months after being selected by the Giants, has been working hard to rehab from injuries that nearly cost him one of his legs. He has been working out with his teammates at the Timex Performance Center...
Teams need more than just a quarterback to win
This offseason has been characterized by quarterback changes. Manning to Denver, Luck drafted by the Colts, Griffin drafted by the Redskins, Tebow vs. Sanchez, Weeden vs. McCoy; they're all great story lines, but they also highlight a growing perception that may just be completely off base. You need a quarterback to win a championship. That's completely true, but you also...

Giants sign 1st round pick David Wilson
The New York Giants can officially start planning on the best ways to replace Brandon Jacobs next season with the signing of their first round pick David Wilson, the running back from Virginia Tech. Wilson joins veteran NYG backs Ahmad Bradshaw, DJ Ware, Da’Rel Scott, and Andre Brown with a deal ESPN.com is reporting should be somewhere around $3.3 million based on where he was...
Giants see big potential in undersized CB Hosley
Although he stands only 5-10 and weighs 170 pounds, cornerback Jayron Hosley, the team's third-round draft pick, is a good example of a player that the team believes can play larger than his physical size. "He's not the biggest guy in the world," said general manager Jerry Reese. "However, we do think he is a competitive, feisty guy and he's one of those...
Giants Agree To Terms With 6th Rd Pick OT Matt McCants
The second of the Giants' seven draft picks has agreed to terms. Offensive lineman Matt McCants and the team reached an agreement today on a four-year contract, according to McCants' agent. New York Giants: Stacy Robinson Loses Battle With Cancer
I had the pleasure of meeting Stacy Robinson back in the summer of 1987. After that encounter, I can honestly say that I have never met a nicer and more gracious person. Robinson lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 50. He was a member of the 1986 and 1990 Super Bowl Championship squads and played his entire career (six seasons) as a Giant.
Drafted out of North Dakota...
Giants SS Chad Jones Not Cleared To Participate In Rookie Camp
Chad Jones' goal of being on the field with his teammates in an organized practice this spring will not be met this weekend. Jones would have been eligible to participate...

The person requested anonymity because the Giants haven't announced the contract yet. Based on...
Teen Jeopardy! contestant doesn’t know who Eli Manning is (Video)
The kids on Teen Jeopardy! are supposed to be geniuses, yet none of them know who Eli Manning is? They need to put down their physics book and pick up a New York Post once in a while. OK, bad example. Maybe stop watching Nat Geo and start mixing in a little more ESPN. Alright, another bad example. I just know all the useless facts in the world are worthless if you can’t recognize...
NFL First Round Picks David Wilson and Luke Kuechly Agree To Contracts
The New York Giants signed running back David Wilson on Friday, while the Carolina Panthers locked up linebacker Luke Kuechly. Both players were the first round draft picks for their respective teams last April. The two franchises joined Green Bay, Chicago, San Diego and Seattle as the teams who have agreed to a contract with their first round pick, according to ESPN.
Kuechly...
Just another Asian toying with the competition
Kevin has been tearing up Teen Jeopardy for a while now, putting up a Ken Jennings like run against all competition. I guess he must be bored with winning so easily. I mean what other reason would there be in guessing Aaron Rodgers when all you have to do is turn on a TV or read a magazine to know that is Eli Manning.
Then again, maybe he knows nothing about pop culture. Check...
