Following the fax debacle, there was some thought that the Denver Broncos and free agent Elvis Dumervil could reach an agreement and reunite. However, Dumervil is unimpressed by the Broncos initial contract offer, and the defensive end will begin looking elsewhere, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post. The Broncos have said that they hope to re-sign Dumervil, but John Elway also indicated that the team is looking into other options if an agreement isn’t able to be reached with the defensive end. "We'd like to get it done as soon as possible, but I think Elvis wants to see what's out there and I think it's important for Elvis to see what else is out there," John Elway, the Broncos' football operations boss, said Tuesday after his team submitted a new three-year contract proposal to Dumervil. "We're also looking at other options too. We'd like it to be Elvis, but we also have to be prepared if it's not Elvis." The Broncos recent offer to Dumervil was for three years – like the one that was agreed upon last Friday. However, the new deal doesn’t offer the pass rusher guaranteed money beyond the first season. Klis notes that Dumervil has drawn interest from several teams – including the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens – and he could begin visiting clubs in the next day or two. Detroit Lions Should Explore Adding Elvis Dumervil

The dominating defensive end was scheduled to make $8 million dollars. The Lions, after...
