INDIANAPOLIS -- Broncos vice president John Elway is limited in how hands-on he can be in furthering the development of starting quarterback Tim Tebow, but he's adamant that needed improvements will be made to make Tebow and the Denver offense more effective.
"There's things we have to get him to do within our offense to be more successful as an offense," Elway said. "We feel that's something we have to do to be able to get better as an offense. To add that threat makes everything else he does that much better."
Elway said he expects Tebow to do everything he can in the offseason to progress, and he endorses his current workout regimen at UCLA with Noel Mazzonne. Elway isn't permitted by the CBA to authorize or create any specific workout plan, but said Tebow's work ethic eases any concern that he won't be working to get better.
