Italian menswear brand, Eredi Pisano, celebrated fashion off-the-field with the help of the New York Giants. Hosted by Giants cornerback, Justin Tryon, the brand introduced “Why Personal Style off the Football Field Matters.” The league has always had its style standouts but now football players across the board are making continued efforts to improve their fashion game. The clothing company specializes in fine garments as well as made-to-measure suits. The latter is often the choice of professional athletes, who have difficultly finding apparel that compliments their larger frames. Eredi Pisano often aligns with sportsmen; they outfitted NFL and collegiate football stars, including Tryon, for a fashion show during NFL Draft Week back in April. According to the NY Daily News: Eredi Pisano enlisted the footballer for its ad campaign, dressing him in suits instead of pads. “It’s something I fell in love with,” Tryon told Confidenti@l at an in-store celebration with fellow Giants. Tryon was joined by his Big Blue teammates including Prince Amukmara, Ramses Barden, Stevie Brown, Keith Rivers and Michael Coe, who dressed up for the event. Eli Manning surveys his flooded building

Eli Manning Kate Mara, the daughter of Giants owner John Mara tweeted a photo of quarterback Eli Manning taking a picture of the flooded lobby in his Hoboken New Jersey apartment building. I’m sure Eli isn’t the only Giants’ player that’s flooded in. At least we know he’s OK, and should be able to play this week. “Looks like our QB is good in #Hoboken.twitpic.com/b8u3yd”...

Giants defeat Cowboys 29-24 in thrilling, yet ugly fashion

The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys played one for the ages down in Arlington today. After storming to a 23-0 lead midway through the second quarter off four Dallas turnovers, the Giants were unable to generate any offense as the Cowboys fought back to take a 24-23 lead into the fourth quarter. Although the Giants looked lifeless on both sides of the ball at times today, the defense...

Giants Injury Report: Chase Blackburn, Bear Pascoe Exit with Injuries

The New York Giants lost linebacker Chase Blackburn and tight end Bear Pascoe to injury during yesterday’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys, reports Randy Jennings of ESPNNewYork.com. Blackburn injured his hamstring and limped off the field during the Cowboys’ second touchdown drive of the second half. He recorded five tackles during the game, giving him 47 on the season...

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz told Mike Francecsa on 660 WFAN in New York that everything is “moving in the right direction” towards him getting a new contract. “From what I hear, they’ve just agreed on the structure right now,” Cruz said. “And that’s all I’m at liberty to say.” Cruz continues to hope something will be finalized soon. “Hopefully this...

Giants control NFC East with 29-24 win at Dallas

Osi Umenyiora and the New York Giants were feeling awful, believing they had just suffered a monumental collapse. Upon further review, a replay overturned a Dallas Cowboys touchdown with 10 seconds left and the Giants held on for a 29-24 victory Sunday after blowing a 23-point lead, taking a firm hold on the NFC East lead. ''After going up 23-0 and having them come back...

Larry, Lawerence,The Real LT…either way Lawerence Tynes gets Vanderjacked!

As the old saying goes, “As Lawerence Tynes goes so do the New York Giants”…and this week was no different. The Giants were able to hold off a fierce attack as Tony Romo was throwing balls right at defenders with no mercy. Tynes has had a fabulous season and the Giants are off to a good start. He is 24-26 on the season from field goal range with his only two misses being...

Jerry Jones to Dallas fans in July: Come watch us beat the Giants’ ass LOL

Video: Jerry Jones gets fired up Jerry Jones is a helluva lot better salesman than he is a GM, that’s for sure. Back when the Dallas Cowboys opened training camp in Oxnard, Calif., in July, Jones boasted to the fans “I want you to come to [Cowboys Stadium] and watch us beat the New York Giants’ ass, OK?” The Cowboys stunned NFL fans by beating the Giants on the road to...

Fantasy spin: no one goes hungry in Denver… enough points to go around

In the days leading up to the week 8 contests I posted an article deriding a fantasy analyst who suggested that a fantasy GM simply could not start Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks at the same time because they both played for the Giants. As it turns out, both players turned in duds but the moral is that the fact that one fantasy owner starts them both, shouldn't matter. Just look...
