The Patriots are in the market for… well, a lot of things with the draft coming up. Even with a Super Bowl appearance, they seem to have plenty of holes in their lineup. The draft is a good way to fill them.
Yesterday, we checked in with NFL Network’s Mike Mayock on the Patriots possible targets. Today, it was ESPN Todd McShay’s turn. He spoke on a conference call earlier today and was asked who the Patriots might target at 27 and 31.
And first, of course, he noted that it’s unlikely coach Bill Belichick will use both picks. “Fortunately or unfortunately — for fans, I think unfortunately — there’s a high likelihood they won’t use both of those picks in the first round,” McShay said.
