Ben Roethlisberger was doing his thing on SportsCenter yesterday, promoting the Big 33 game and whatnot, when some smartass ESPN intern thought it would be cool to slip in this Eli Manning ID. That intern was promptly fired, told to never return to Bristol and ridiculed for his/her knowledge of guys accused of rape in Georgia bars. In Niagara Falls news, that was some serious ******** last night. He didn’t even lose the harness. I’ve lost all faith in wire walkers. Let’s get rolling! Filed under: Football

Some thoughts On Roethlisberger and Father’s Day

It’s often funny how you grow up with the players you love in the National Football League. Perhaps a better way of saying it is that it’s fun to watch them grow before your eyes year in and year out. When Ben Roethlisberger was drafted in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers there was but one thing on the mind of every person in the Steelers Nation...

Harrison and Roethlisberger are in the top 30 of NFL’s top 100

Last night the NFL released number 21-30 on their top 100 of 2012 list, and two Steelers made that section of the list.  James Harrion came in at number 29 and Ben Roethlisberger came in at number 30.   This makes 5 Steelers that have made the list to date with still the top 20 players in the NFL to go.  Mike Wallace, Maurkice Pouncey and LaMarr Woodley also made the list. ...

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Says He Won't Change His Style Of Play

Team president Art Rooney II recently talked about Ben Roethlisberger adding a “tweak” to his game, but don't bank on it happening. "I'm not going to change my game," Roethlisberger said, per a Friday CBSSports.com report. "Coach (Haley) can do what he wants to add protection and things like that, but I'm going to play the game the way I know how. It...

A college girl named Jessica Gormley was coming off oral surgery and had to have a drug in her during the procedure. Apparently, she was so messed up that all she wanted was to see New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning after it. Take a look at the hilarity in the video above. Ben Roethlisberger Confident Steelers WR Mike Wallace Will Be In Training Camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't seen much of Mike Wallace since the 2011 season ended. The game-breaking deep threat who's averaged better than 1,200 receiving yards the past two years has skipped offseason training and has yet to sign his $2.7 million restricted free agent tender as he holds out for a far more lucrative, long-term contract. However QB Ben Roethlisberger...

The Top 100 Players of 2012 rolled on last night with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ranking 30th and outside linebacker James Harrison ranking 29th on the list that none of the players seem to admit voting for. Emmanuel Sanders joined 93.7 The Fan to talk about how the learning of the offense is going and how he currently still is the return man heading out...

New York Giants: Is Eli Manning Vastly Underrated By His Peers

Eli Manning was ranked as the No. 31 player in the NFL by his peers. Manning was fifth among quarterbacks (only behind Brady, Rodgers, Brees and Roethlisberger), which isn't far from the truth (should be ahead of Roethlisberger). He passed for nearly 5,000 yards and had the fourth-highest yards-per-attempt average in football during an impressive, yet somewhat inconsistent regular...

Eli Manning throws out first pitch while holding daughter

Eli Manning used his arm to help the New York Giants win two Super Bowls so throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Sunday's New York Mets game against the Cincinnati Reds sounded easier than the quarterback's laid-back demeanor.  Manning was so confident, he threw the ball while holding his daughter, Ava, in his left arm while he did it.  It was Father's Day...

Eli Manning has some advice for LeBron James

After experiencing so much criticism leading up to this past season before he won his first and even second Super Bowl,  New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning can relate to the pressure that Miami Heat forward LeBron James has been coping with to win a championship. “You can see that with LeBron and what’s going on in the NBA Finals, you lose one game, they are all over. They...

Steelers Need Wallace in 2012

The Steelers offense could use a weapon like Mike Wallace in 2012. They will have a lot of change on offense and could use a familiar face and reliable target for Ben Roethlisberger. As of now the Steelers have lost offensive leader Hines Ward, have a new offensive coordinator in Todd Haley, are lik Continue
