As ESPN’s Kenny Mayne tells us in the latest installment of his “Mayne Event” feature, the Seahawks actually may have benefited from some time travel as they won their first game in the Eastern time zone since December of 2007. Inspired by coach Pete Carroll’s altered practice schedule during the week of the Pittsburgh game, funny-guy Mayne wondered if perhaps the Seahawks might be able to consult the movie “Back to the Future” for tips on how to manage their trip to the East Coast this time around.
