The leg injury to wide receiver Lee Evans is starting to concern me, but maybe that will be eased later today. If Evans isn't at full tilt or can't play against the Steelers on Sunday, the Ravens are in serious trouble. Well, they are in serious trouble anyway because I'm not sure how their tackles, Michael Oher and Bryant McKinnie, match up with Pittsburgh outside linebackers LaMarr Woodley and James Harrison. But back to Evans. The best way to attack the Steelers is to use multiple receiver sets and spread them out, putting their linebackers in space. Green Bay did an excellent job of doing that to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. But to spread them out, a team has to have several good receivers. Right now, the Ravens have just two proven ones in Anquan Boldin and Evans. There is no No. 3 -- not one who has proven himself, anyway. If Evans can't go, they can't attack downfield.
