What was that rookie haircut on Hard Knocks last night? Well, it really was another dong cut (via @navytyde2). It seems there’s a dong-cut epidemic sweeping the NFL rookie hazing wars. You might remember yesterday when we showed you Carson Palmer shaving a dong into the head of a Raiders rookie. Now this from the Dolphins.
In other football news, a 300-pound, 12-year-old in Texas wants to play Pee Wee football. The league said no because he’d kill a kid.
Let’s get rolling!

The 2012 NFL Pre-Season is officially underway for the Oakland Raiders. And what better way to start football again with a Monday Night contest? Several players were not able to suit up for the game due to injuries: WRs Duke Calhoun (knee), Eddie McGee (hamstring) and Denarius Moore (hamstring); RBs Taiwan Jones (hamstring) and Mike [...]
Jeff Demps the Olympic sprinter and former RB for the Florida Gators has announced he is ready to get back to Football and the Raiders are in need of adding another running back with all the injuries that are piling up. Jeff Demps played for the Florida Gators for four years as a change of [...]
If you’re an NFL rookie who thinks you have it bad, just be thankful you don’t play in Oakland. We don’t really know if their rookies actually get the worst haircuts or if they simply do a great job of publicizing it, but any rookie who plays for the Raiders might as well completely shave their own head before training camp begins. Otherwise, there’s no guarantee you won’t...
Inconsistency was the word of the game for the Raiders who were shut out at home in their 2012 preseason opener versus the Dallas Cowboys.
The starting offense only played a few series and moved the ball well but some miscues between QB Carson Palmer and WR Jacoby Ford kept them from capitalizing on Darren McFadden's hard running.
In the first drive, the Raiders moved down...
Raiders head coach Dennis Allen updated the status of some of the team's injured players after practice yesterday in advance of Fridays's game with the Arizona Cardinals.First, injured RB Mike Goodson, who was out with a neck injury following a very scary collision during a practice with pads last week returned to practice and is set to get his first playing time in Silver...
Darren McFadden needed one series to show he's in midseason form for Oakland following a foot injury that cut his last season short.
Most of the rest of the first-team offensive players for the Raiders and Dallas Cowboys need plenty of work to get back to that level.
McFadden picked up where he left off last season by gaining 38 yards on Oakland's first three plays of the...
It's early yet to start predicting the effectiveness of any NFL team's offense or defense, since we're primarily seeing names on the backs of Raiders jerseys we might never hear of again.
However, if Monday night's preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys is any indication, fans of the silver and black may be able to cheer on a defense that hearkens back to a more...
Former NFL Fullback Lorenzo Neal joins Rob and Amy to talk about Chad Johnson's release from the Dolphins and Tim Tebow's impact on the Jets.
Rueben Randle left LSU after his junior season for the 2012 NFL draft. He gets passed over in the 1st round but is eventually plucked in the 2nd by the Super Bowl champion Giants. Seems like a perfect scenario. Rueben has to figure this isn’t the Bengals, Raiders or Dolphins so things should go smoothly. And then rookie hazing day comes along.
Guess who’s going for an ice bath...
