PLAYERS: Eddie Lacy
TEAMS: Green Bay Packers
Eddie Lacy could be one of the best running backs in Packers’ history. I truly believe that Eddie Lacy has the chance to be one of the best running backs in Packer history. But there’s one aspect of Lacy’s game that scares me. He is like a tough sponge because he absorbs so much punishment. He was nicked up with a concussion and the nagging ankle injury this year. And in the following years, it very well could be something else. Lacy isn’t the Barry Sanders-esque back that relishes in making people miss. Lacy attacks the line of scrimmage with the mentality of a middle line backer. He would rather hit and knock someone over as opposed to run circles around him. That’s not to say he doesn’t flash the occasional spin, stutter step or cut back in an effort to churn more yardage and move the chains. But Lacy is and will always be the Packers’ road grader. He was fourth in the NFL this year with nearly 19 carries a game and he did most of that while dealing with some sort of ailment. And...

The youth movement in Green Bay

30 teams are spectators this weekend. 30 teams didn’t achieve their goal. 30 teams are in offseason mode and will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday with one thought in mind, “I want to be there next year.” That is, of course, if they can bear to watch at all. The Green Bay Packers will be among those 30 teams hoping to earn a chance to compete for their own Lombardi trophy...

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Green Bay Packers quarterbackAaron Rodgers will account for 13.46 percent of the proposed 2014 salary cap. Packers' Mike Daniels eyes defensive leadership role

Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels was in town for a couple of media engagements, but he wasn't planning to attend Super Bowl XLVIII. The New Jersey native doesn't have time for it. The Packers need a Richard Sherman on their team

I saw on your “Twitter Tuesday” post that some people are talking about Lambeau Field being host to a Super Bowl some day. Do you think that could ever happen? –Jay in Chicago As far as the logistics go, Green Bay would be a great location for a Super Bowl, there’s simply nothing like midwest hospitality. Milwaukee is not far away, could play host to much of the festivities...
