Looking at the NFC East right now, you could probably make a convincing argument that the weakest unit on all four teams in that division is the offensive line.  In New York, Eli Manning's blind side is in trouble with Will Beatty hurt and Mark Sanchez's front side is in jeopardy as the Jets look for a right tackle solution not named Wayne Hunter.  Have you heard? The Patriots' offensive line issues could derail their season and the Colts are on a mission to fix their shaky offensive line. Cleveland's offensive line is struggling, but so is Chicago's, St. Louis's, Jacksonville's, Baltimore's, Minnesota's, Arizona's, Atlanta's, San Francisco's, Pittsburgh's and San Diego's. So if everyone's line sucks, I suppose nobody's line sucks. Or maybe we should rethink the criteria that determines how sucky a line is. Maybe, as passing becomes more prominent and pass rushers become more in-demand, pass protecti...

Fireman Ed says Jets Players not Helping Sanchez out

I didn’t go to any preseason games and apparently neither did Fireman Ed.  According to his tweets this morning, he never goes and he never worries about the preseason results. Mark Sanchez played a pretty good game in my eyes and Ed believes that his teammates need to help him out.  That starts with the line protection and goes all the way to the receivers running the correct...

Eli Manning vs. Peyton Manning: Who fears who more?

Peyton Manning vs. Eli Manning.  The elite vs. the pro bowler.  The one time champion vs. the two-time champion.  Who fears who more? This has become our modern-day era, which came first the chicken or the egg?, age-long question.  Just like everyone assumes it was the egg, everyone assumed it was Eli that feared big brother Peyton. What if it was the chicken that cames first...

Sanchez plus Tebow equals no TDs so far for Jets

The New York Jets are still searching for the end zone. Mark Sanchez can't get them there, and neither can Tim Tebow. After three preseason games, the Jets' offensive ineptitude has become a punch line - especially since they're the first team in 35 years to go this long without a touchdown. Sure, it's still only the preseason and the Jets insist they're not...

2012 New York Giants Preview

From 9-7 to beating the Patriots in the Superbowl. Only Eli Manning. The Giants second Superbowl win in four years featured a dominant display in the playoffs to render the potent offenses of Atlanta and Green Bay inert and the ferocious defence of San Francisco broken. The play from Manning in the final featured throws usually reserved only for the post season and sees him overtake...

Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez head up leadership camp for the Jets

There is never a dull moment with the New York Jets, right? I know, you are so over the Jets with all their coverage from ESPN. Probably tired of us bringing them up as well, right? Tough. The latest news about the team that has yet to score a touchdown in the preseason is that [...]

Panthers hold off Jets in preseason win

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Mark Sanchez looked pretty good for nearly three quarters. He just couldn't get the New York Jets into the end zone -- again. Tim Tebow had the play of the game, but also couldn't get that elusive preseason touchdown for the Jets. Tebow got the fans fired up with a dazzling 20-yard run in the fourth quarter, but threw an interception three...

New York Jets: Top 10 Reasons They Haven't Scored a Touchdown

It is no secret that the New York Jets' offense is struggling to score after three preseason games. Both first string and second sting quarterbacks, Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, are inspiring a cacophony of boos from fans.Last week's boos from New Jersey's Met Life Stadium were so loud you could hear them across the river in New York City.Imagine you are on a certain...

New York Jets: Offense Takes Small Steps Forward

With the New York Jets' offense failing to score a touchdown through Week 1 of the preseason, the offense did make some strides last night.Their offensive line looked stronger and was able to protect Mark Sanchez for the most part. With Wayne Hunter going to the bench, newly promoted right tackle Austin Howard has answered critics by showing that he is quite capable of playing...

Braylon Edwards says Seahawks rookie QB Russell Wilson will be better than Jets QB Mark Sanchez

Braylon Edwards has made himself quite at home in Seattle. The receiver recently gave statements on the difference between his current QB, Russell Wilson and Jets Mark Sanchez who he played with during the 2010 season. Seattle Seahawks receiver Braylon Edwards has played with rookie quarterbacks before.  In Cleveland it was Brady Quinn.  In New [...]

New York Jets: END ZONE ENVY

GAME RECAP:  If the game against the Carolina Panthers was truly the last dress rehearsal before the regular season, I’m not impressed with what will-be the finished product as the Jets went yet another game without a touchdown.  Granted, the Jets aren’t running the offense the way they say they will in the regular season, but the execution of the plays they are running is...

Young Players Impress in Giants Loss

The Giants lost for the second time this preseason when the Chicago Bears came back from a 10 point halftime deficit to defeat the defending Super Bowl champions 20-17 on Friday night. Despite the loss, the Giants had plenty to be happy about. Quarterback Eli Manning was 17-21 with a 148 yards and a touchdown. The defense was also stout holding Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler to 9...

21 NSFW F-Bomb Tweets Ripping The Jets Disgusting Offense

Catch any of the Jets-Panthers game last night? Jets looked good right? This time is becoming more and more of a laughing stock with every passing week. Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano keep telling fans that things are fine, that they’re waiting until the regular season to “unleash” their offense. The media is quickly becoming very critical and so are fans. They’re sick of Tebow...

Only two games on the card Sunday night but they both involved interesting storylines.Peyton Manning looked sharp in his 3rd preseason game with the Broncos. Also just as interesting, but perhaps for different reasons, Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow continued to struggle in their 3rd preseason outing with the Jets.  Peyton and his Horses look ready for Week 1, while Mark and Timmy have...

The Jets are in trouble with their anemic offense

The New York Jets have a major problem. They've played three preseason games, and they still haven't put the ball in the endzone. At this point, it's hard to imagine Tony Sparano feeling comfortable about his job security as the Jets prepare for their final preseason game against the Eagles. Last night's game against Carolina showed us a few things. First off...
