It's true. Every year we do less than we "could" do to make the team better. Dawk should already be signed. So should Tra. We have 48 million in cap space. There's no excuse. If we don't sign Dawk, I might have to boycott this season - straight up! If they don't want to win, why should we waste our time hoping and praying and feeling the pain! No news on us whatsoever - meanwhile the skins just got better. Keep in mind - The skins beat us twice in 2008. We got super lucky to make the playoffs. Something had better happen today. No patience is required from us fans - the team hasn't been champios since 1960 - before I was born - my mom was still a little girl when we won last - they didn't even call it the Super Bowl backl then. We've been patient enough.

DTRIK19 - slow up on your insults - completely unnecessary - I'm not here for that - I'm venting as a life time fan. Yes - it's time to imitate the redskins a little bit. Obviously I don't want to go pay crazy money to the likes of Antwaan Randle El, but I'm talking about B-Dawk. Arguably one of the 5 best safeties to EVER play this game we all love. I;m talking about the heart and soul of our defense. If you let him go - then you might as well start rebuilding. Look at the Pats - quietly signing Fred Taylor - that deal is all but done. The Patriots have been to 4 Super Bowls and won 3. They know how to make moves. We're almost as good as them in the front office, but we don't make those extra fr4ee agency moves. It's been 10 years and Mcnabb's weapons have been very limited. Stop being cheap (Joe Banner/Jeffrey Lurie) and make the damn thing happen. The Phillies did what they had to do to get better at pitching - and hitting- I know this is an eagles site - but you get my point. Champions pay the extra price - strategically.

also DTRIK19 - are you really proud of last season? I'm not. I'm only proud of the last game of the season - beating Dallas, and the playoff run. We should have beaten to Cards - has we not been too cheap to get Gonzalez (2nd rd pick) we would have beaten the Cards in my opinion. We seem to always be looking ahead to the future, meanwhile - teams like the Giants sneak in Lombardi trophies while we're waiting for........only God knows. I get the feeling the team is scared to spend money. Not stupidly, but we seem to be adverse to spending money. That's what started the whole beef with T.O. in the 1st place. We didn't want to pay him. We have to take a serious look at ourselves. Do you really think we lost 4 NFC CHampionships in 8 years because we are cursed? NO - it's because we're a little too cheap to win it all. Also - we need to draft a little bit better. Look at the Steelers/Colts/Pats/Giants - they all draft very well.
