If you haven’t figured it out yet, the results were negative.  Oh and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have lupus either, because it’s never lupus.

David Clowney, a receiver and special teams player for the Buffalo Bills, took to Twitter today to let the world know the results of his recent HIV test.  No one is really all that sure why, except that later on in his timeline Clowney did urge everyone to get tested and to help raise awareness, which is a pretty decent thing for the 26-year-old to do.

And hey, I understand why Clowney thanked God for keeping his body safe and healthy and HIV free, but shouldn’t he have also thanked the women he slept with for being free of the disease as well?  Guess you can only thank so many people in 140 characters, and the big man upstairs takes precedent.

Here’s a pic of the test results tweeted out by Clowney, in case anyone didn’t believe his tweet…

Let’s just hope that when Clowney gets older he doesn’t tweet out the results of his prostate exam, complete with well-timed picture during the procedure, because awareness or not, that would be downright disturbing.
