Ex-Giants star tells grand jury that he's remorseful

NEW YORK | Plaxico Burress expressed remorse Wednesday regarding his arrest for felony gun possession after testifying before a Manhattan grand jury deciding whether to indict him. Friend and former teammate Antonio Pierce, who was with Burress the night he accidentally shot himself, will testify before the grand jury today. Burress and his lawyer, Ben Brafman, emerged after 2 1/2 hours from the downtown building where the grand jury is impaneled, and Burress made his first public statements in several months.
