Former NFL safety Roy Williams may be turning his attention back to college football.
Williams has been working as a sideline reporter for Oklahoma football games.
The 31-year-old Williams told the Oklahoman that he turned down a contract offer from an NFL team that plays on the west coast in order to return to the school. He did not elaborate on the identity of the team.
The eighth overall pick in the 2002 draft, Williams was a five-time Pro Bowler. He has collected 599 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 20 interceptions during 114 career NFL games with the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys.
