Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi was in the spotlight again yesterday, being named one of the four honorary captains for the AFC Championship game against the Ravens. The Pats are shouting out the 1996 and 2001 teams, and Bruschi was on both. While he expressed gratitude for the honor, the current ESPN analyst also offered his own prediction for Sunday. And while his former teammates would never look ahead, Bruschi did exactly that. You may like his Super Bowl prediction. Yup, he’s thinking Patriots-Giants. “There’s a story for you,” Bruschi said. “I was watching the Giants game with my wife and sons at home and the Giants are winning the game and you know what the potential is there. I looked at my wife and said, ‘Honey, I don’t know if I can deal with this for two weeks.’ Reliving ’07 having to talk about it here at ESPN. But the more I thought about it I said, ‘Babe, that’s the way I think it should be.’ I said that because I think that’s the way Myra would have wanted it.
