The Last Angry Fan:
Jeff Fisher was hired to try and turn the moribund St. Louis Rams franchise around, which is no easy feat considering the team has gone a putrid 15-65 over the last five seasons. But if anyone can do it, it’s the finely mustachioed Fisher, who boasts a 142-120 career record with the Oilers/Titans.
Speaking of ‘staches, the Rams have designated their September 16 home opener against the Redskins as “Stache Bash.” Any person who buys a discounted ticket will receive a Coach Fisher mustache when they enter the Edward Jones Dome. Because nothing will take your mind off the crappy product on the field more than a replica of Jeff Fisher’s facial fuzz. At least that’s what the St. Louis Rams executives are banking on…the spellbinding, yet soothing effect of a well manicured mustache.

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By R.B. FALLSTROM AP Sports Writer There are 17 rookies on the St. Louis Rams' opening day roster, seven more players age 24 or younger and 31 in all on the 53-man roster who were not with the franchise last season.
It's the youngest team in the NFL, with an average age under 26. A lot of kids for new coach Jeff Fisher to corral.

Bill Parcells once told Peter King that he spends 50% of his time worrying about the bottom five guys on the roster. So too Jeff Fisher, who on the eve of the regular season has just cut the man slated to start Game 1 at left guard, and one of...
He smokes cigars and shoots guns.
Jeff Fisher is a wonderful coach, but he has a tall task at hand with the St Louis Rams. This is a franchise that has been languishing for the last few years, and the ownership is more concerned about getting the team out-of-town, than actually playing winning football. Needless to say, fan excitement in St [...]
Steven Jackson of the St Louis Rams will have to carry the ball early and often in order for the Rams to have a chance in Week 1. Defensively Robert Quinn and Chris Long both need monster games if the St Louis Rams have any hopes of getting the upset win in Week 1.
During a Wednesday conference call with reporters, St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher was asked if he’ll welcome back defensive coordinator Gregg Williams next season if he’s reinstated by the NFL.
Fisher responded simply by saying “we’ll discuss that next year.”
Well the good news for Williams is that he might have a job with his buddy next year, that’s if the NFL...

The St. Louis Rams are expected to once again suck so bad, they have resorted to petty marketing tactics to entice their fan base. The Detroit Lions' decade of losing football ended last season.
It remains to be seen if new coach Jeff Fisher can help the St. Louis Rams end their string of sub-.500 campaigns.
Looking to build off its first playoff appearance since 1999, Detroit opens its season with high expectations Sunday when the visiting Rams try to rebound from another last-place finish.
