i'm not surprised if he quit on the play and if he wanted to talk trash to the jags. just call him phillip rivers
What in the world was Rodney Harrison doing post-interception in yesterday's Jags game. As he stuck the ball out, slowed his gait and sashayed out of bounds, no one said a word. Did he just quit on the play? Was it just meant to belittle his opponents? Was no one bothered by his actions, or is it that this guy is such a knob job that no one was the least bit surprised and raised an eye brow when he goes out of his way to act like an ahole?

Phil Rivers was talking trash when the team was down and he was headed for the locker, and he was talking after the game too. And why not? He played a great game as did his team. I saw no disrespect. Had the Colts won, they and their fans would have been running their game too. Perhaps Rivers was thinking about the lack of respect that they were getting despite being the better team.

You guys are getting too caught up in things that occur during the raw emotion of the battle. There's nothing wrong with spontaneous displays of emotion during big moments. What I hate is choreographed stuff like T.O.'s Sharpie or Chad Johnson's scripted touchdown celebrations.

im sorry...he made the int to virtually end the game..he is a 10+ year vetran and realized that the 10 maybe 15 more possible yards he could have gotten would make no difference...they needed simply to kill time...so rodney did not want to give the ball back, by fumbiling in a sporadic run, which he is not trained to do, to the jags offense who was quite potent in that game...he made the smart play...did anyone accuse westbrook of giving up on the play when he kneeled down on the one yard line a couple weeks ago...bellicheck would have chewed his ass out trying to make a play just because he wanted a td...not pats style, not winning style

did he have to stick the ball out and taunt in the process? if he wanted to run out the clock, why go out of bounds, why not run around in circles ala techmo bowl?

He's on HGH what else do you expect.

sticking the ball out was not the smartest...i honestly believe he should have been flagged for celebrating and spiking the ball...but he made the right play...and honestly running around w/ other guys swarming to you after you pick the ball of does not sound too intelligent...this is not colllege ball....
