Julio Jones shows his explosiveness
All the Falcons' brain-trust talked about over the offseason was adding more explosive plays.
They went out and give up a slew of draft picks to move up 21 spots in the draft to select wide receiver Julio Jones. His job was simply to add some boom-bang-boom to the offense.

Jones, Falcons keep Colts winless with 31-7 rout
Matt Ryan saw three blue jerseys surrounding Julio Jones and confidently launched the ball anyway.
Jones made Ryan's faith pay off with a diving 50-yard touchdown catch so spectacular it was ruled incomplete at first. Atlanta coach Mike Smith challenged, the call was reversed on replay, and the Falcons were on their way to a 31-7 rout of the winless Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis Colts Lose Again, Now in Driver’s Seat for No. 1 Pick
The previous weekend was a rather turbulent one for the Indianapolis Colts.
It was capped, of course, with another loss, this one a 31-7 drubbing at home to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Depending on one’s perspective, however, the loss might have been a blessing, as the Miami Dolphins, who until Sunday were the NFL’s only other winless team, beat the Kansas City Chiefs...
