This is the port in the summer where people are talking about trading players, and I just wanted to quickly go over some Falcon players that probably have the most trade value. Obviously, a player like Roddy White would have huge trade value, but the Falcons won’t trade him. I’m looking more at guys that appear to be somewhat expendable and have an outside shot that it could...

The Atlanta Falcons have made a habit of reaching the playoffs.
That's not good enough anymore.
A few days after the Falcons were routed by the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants in a wild-card game last season, owner Arthur Blank summoned general manager Thomas Dimitroff and coach Mike Smith for what amounted to a humbling public apology.
The message was clear:...

The NFL season is always loaded with upsets and week one will be no exception as the Kansas City Chiefs will upset the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons have high expectations with Matt Ryan under center and two exceptional targets in wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White. Meanwhile, Kansas City is expected to struggle in the mediocre AFC West and they will be considered lucky...
1. Atlanta Falcons I hate picking the Falcons. I really do. It’s probably the most boring pick possible in this division. However, in a division as turbulent as the NFC South, I’ve opted to go with the most stable team.Atlanta returns almost every contributor from last season’s 10-6 team.Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez are the skill guys...
The much maligned 4th preseason game is usually a boring game that pits backups against other backups, but some of us see it as an opportunity for young players to show what they are made of. There were many of those moments as the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Atlanta Falcons 24-14. We will go over a few of these players after the picture.
